ARCHITECTURAL COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • Celebrates architectural firms that have designed the most inspiring and ground-breaking buildings for Middle East developers, in the year leading up to the awards event. A company that specialises in architecture can enter this category.
COST CONSULTING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • The region’s most efficient, respected and professional quantity surveying company will be commended in this category. A company that specialises in quantity surveying/cost consulting can enter this category. (Companies that provide four or more disciplines should apply for the Multi-Discipline category)
GENDER DIVERSITY CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises a company that is actively trying to balance the gender scales and/or encourage the next generation of female professional through focused initiatives and strategies. This includes but is not limited to diversity friendly HR practices and policies, educational initiatives and other such outreach.
LIGHTING DESIGN CONSULTANCY OF THE YEAR
  • Lighting design is a key part of modern projects, and this award honours the consultant that has delivered distinctive and impressive lighting across several projects. Nominated companies should provide evidence of their skills and abilities in their submission, along with client references and notable examples of their work from the last year.
MEP ENGINEERING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • Honours firms specialising in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines. It recognises MEP consultants that offer pioneering and energy-efficient solutions for regional clients in the last year. A company that specialises in the MEP disciplines can enter this category. It must have at least one office in the Middle East. (Companies that provide four or more disciplines should apply for the Multi-Discipline category)
MULTI-DISCIPLINE CONSULTING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • Celebrates a firm that has made a significant contribution to the region’s built environment within the past year. Firms that provide four or more disciplines to clients in the Middle East are eligible for this award i.e. project management, architectural design, structural engineering and MEP.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • A standout project management company, which has helped to keep regional projects on time and on budget, will be recognised in this award category. A project management specialist firm can enter this category. (Companies that provide four or more disciplines should apply for the Multi-Discipline category)
  • SPECIALIST CONSULTING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • START-UP OF THE YEAR
  • STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • SUSTAINABLE CONSULTANCY OF THE YEAR
  • TECHNOLOGY CHAMPION OF THE YEAR

SPECIALIST CONSULTING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • This award recognises a consultancy boasting niche expertise, which includes but is not limited to experience design, wayfinding, acoustics, facades, geo technics, geometry, security and fire & life safety consulting.
START-UP OF THE YEAR
  • This category honours a consultancy that has recently set-up shop in the region. To qualify for this category, companies must have been established in the last 24 months and have either delivered or are working on construction projects.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises a structural engineering company that has provided the most intelligent and innovative structural solutions to clients in the region. A company that specialises in structural engineering can enter this category. All nominated companies must show results of their work in the year leading up to the awards.
SUSTAINABLE CONSULTANCY OF THE YEAR
  • Honours consultants that specialise in green/sustainable consulting. Nominated companies should provide evidence of their skills and abilities in their submission, along with references and notable examples of their work from the last year.
TECHNOLOGY CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
  • Honours a consultant that developed an in-house solution or has taken advantage of a third-party solution to elevate its service offering to clients. This category is open to consultants that have, in the year leading up to the awards, developed or deployed new technology that enabled them to better service client requirements.
URBAN DESIGN & LANDSCAPING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • Honours the urban design or landscaping firm that has created the most attractive outdoor spaces, in either public or private projects, in the year prior to the awards event. A company that is a specialist in urban design or landscaping can enter this category. (Companies that provide four or more disciplines should apply for the Multi-Discipline category)
WORKPLACE OF THE YEAR
  • The Middle East is home to hundreds of consultancies, and this category recognises the organisation that provides the best environment for its employees to excel and grow.

Individual Awards


  • EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
  • WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION: PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR
EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
  • Honours an executive (male or female) who has exceeded expectations and garnered the attention of their colleagues and peers in the twelve months leading up to the awards. This nominee must hold a senior management position.
WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION: PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises a female professional who has been delivering exceptional work and earned the attention of her colleagues, peers and clients, in the twelve months leading up to the awards. This nominee must be directly involved on regional construction projects. Professionals in the HR, PR and marketing fields are not eligible.
  • ME CONSULTANT’S RISING STAR OF THE YEAR
ME CONSULTANT’S RISING STAR OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises up and coming talent within the Middle East construction industry. The nominee must have at least two years of formal experience within the company and the regional construction industry to be eligible.

  • SMART PROJECT OF THE YEAR
PROJECT OF THE YEAR
  • This award recognises the top Middle East construction project of the year. Consultants should only nominate projects that were completed in the twelve months leading up to the awards. Ongoing projects can also be nominated for this award. Consultants can nominate projects that they were involved in for this category, and we ask that firms submit no more than one project each.
SMART PROJECT OF THE YEAR
  • Designed to highlight a project that uses modern building techniques and technologies such as pre-fabricated pillars and walls, 3D printing technology, BIM, automation and so on. Consultants who specialise in smart/modern building techniques can nominate their projects for this category.
  • SUSTAINABLE PROJECT OF THE YEAR
SUSTAINABLE PROJECT OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises projects that took advantage of sustainable building materials and processes to create a building or structure that is energy efficient and green-compliant, with minimal impact on the environment. Consultants specialising in green building/sustainability can nominate in this category.
