COST CONSULTING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  • Cost consultants are essential to the success of projects and here, the region’s most efficient, respected and professional firms will be commended. Companies should use their nominations to demonstrate how their approach and expertise kept a project on budget, without compromising quality.
  • Companies specialising in quantity surveying/cost consulting can enter this category. Firms that provide four or more disciplines, in addition to cost consultancy, should apply for the ‘Multi-Discipline Consulting Company of the Year’ category.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises dispute resolution and arbitration specialists whose intervention has resulted in substantive advancement of named and identifiable projects. Companies should us their submission to show precisely how their contribution helped resolve ongoing or specific contractual or legal blockages and facilitated project advancement.

GENDER & ETHICAL EMPLOYMENT CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises companies of all sizes which have either dramatically evolved their existing raft of ED&I protocols, or made a great start on creating and implementing them for the first time. The category rewards either those initiatives concerned specifically with gender issues or any aspect of diversity enhancement (or both). Companies should use their submission to show how they have become fairer, more ethical and inclusive employers and the timeframes and targets they are working to.

HEALTH & SAFETY AND WELLNESS CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
  • Recognises both advances in technical Health & Safety measures – whether on-site or related to company offices – or the creation/delivery of an integrated and proactive Wellness programme.   • The design of interior spaces is more important than ever before. This award recognises specialist firms that planned and delivered stunning, functional spaces across regional residential and commercial projects.

ENTERPRISE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR (UP TO 5 YEARS OLD)
  • This category honours firms that have recently set-up for business in the region. To qualify for this category, companies should have been established in the last 5 years and have either delivered or are engaged on construction projects. Companies older than 5 years will automatically be eliminated in the first round of shortlisting.

  • Recognises structural engineering companies that have provided the most intelligent and innovative structural solutions to clients. Companies should use their submission to show results of their work and innovation in the year leading up to the awards.

  • This category recognises the region’s top infrastructure projects for the government sector. Consultants interested in nominating should submit no more than two nominations. Firms should use their nomination to highlight the client’s vision for the project and the subsequent real-world aesthetic features, complexity and how it was overcome, impact on the community, functionality and ground-breaking features. Only projects that are ongoing (40% complete at least) or have been delivered in the twelve months leading up to the awards qualify. Projects that are in the design stage will not be considered by the panel of judges.
